Weird spotting on Cairo streets

Weird things spotted in a neighbourhood walk today: Entire buses full of red, white and black painted men geared up for the Egypt v Algeria match tonight. Cappuccino-mint flavoured toothpaste. A large caged ape for sale on the footpath. Ah, lovely Cairo.

Fear is found on a creaking glacier in the Caucasus mountains and joy is encapsulated in the perfect Shanghai dumpling.

What? No photo of the ape? Please take a picture of any apes that are for sale. Some indication of price would be good, also.

i thought you'd want the toothpaste… i knowwwww i couldn't believe i didn't have my camera with me for once. will return tomorrow. you can't sell an ape overnight. surely. POA. they will charge me double for said ape cos i'm foreign.
